Anjali is a humanistic psychotherapist using Transactional Analysis (TA) as her primary way of working. TA is a collaborative, transparent way of working in partnership with clients towards agreed goals, and provides both practical tools and frameworks that help deal with a problem, as well as long-term insight into blocks that keep us from thriving and connecting authentically.
Anjali believes in the capacity of every person to live wholeheartedly and be true to who they are. When we feel stuck or when life seems to go off the rails, the answers often lie in ways of being and relating that we have learnt over time, which no longer serve us. Anjali works with adult individuals, couples and families, to identify stuck patterns and blocks in communication, to clear the way for new ways of being and relating to emerge.
Anjali has spent 30 years working as a researcher in the area of human motivation and behaviour change, studying the impact of psychology and culture in the choices that people make.
She currently works in private practice as well as with an NHS primary care service in North London. She is a Certified Transactional Analyst registered with the BACP and UKCP.
