Alice Plosker 2

Alice is an Integrative Psychotherapist who has more than 8 years of experience working with children, adolescents and their families. Her integrative approach means that she tailors the sessions to meet the different needs of the clients. Alice begins the therapeutic work by creating a safe, comfortable space and working at the child’s pace. She is passionate about using creativity and various art forms to engage children in the process. Alice offers sand tray, play, art, games and puppetry alongside talking to encourage the exploration of different themes, feelings, behaviours and current difficulties.
The focus of Alice’s work is to broaden children’s emotional vocabulary alongside helping them to develop an understanding of themselves, their relationships and behaviours. The objective is that the young people leave with an increased capacity to manage their big feelings and not be overwhelmed by them.

As well as her private practice at TTC, Alice runs weekly multi-family group sessions for The School & Family Works organisation, where parents work with their children in a structured session. Prior to this Alice worked for The Schools Counselling Partnership for over 5 years, where she coordinated a counselling service across four West London schools. In this role she enjoyed supporting the trainee psychotherapists and running numerous training and educational workshops for teachers and parents.

Alice has experience of working with a variety of referrals, including early trauma, bereavement, self-harm, behavioural difficulties, anxiety and low self-esteem.
