Dr Lilly Lines

Dr Lines is a psychiatrist with expertise in neurodevelopmental disorders, with or without additional intellectual disability (learning disability). She also has a special interest in neuropsychiatry and trauma.

She studied at Cambridge then went on to medical school at Nottingham. She returned to London as a junior doctor and specialised in psychiatry within the Maudsley training scheme in South London. She has a lectureship from King's College London. She has worked extensively in intellectual disability and mainstream mental health services, and currently works part-time within the NHS in a community learning disability team. She has found the gaps in care affecting adults on the autism spectrum and/or with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) frustrating. While she continues to argue for the expansion of such services within the NHS, she has joined Therapeutic Consultants to try and help bridge the gap.
