Lucy is an Integrative Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist who has worked therapeutically in a wide range of educational establishments (primary, secondary, private, university counselling service). She has practised as a therapist since 2008. Currently she works in private practice in Primrose Hill and Holloway.
Lucy’s calm, friendly approach is based on her belief that everyone has stages or times in their life when they need help. Through gaining an understanding of her clients and their circumstances, she enables them to appreciate their strengths, talents and enthusiasms as well as identifying current obstacles to their development. She supports her clients in finding their own ways of resolving current problems and developing their unique potential.
Lucy customises her treatment for individual clients and families. She uses a non-intrusive, respectful blend of play, arts and conversation in working with children and young people. Her integrative training allows her to access a broad range of theories and techniques. Her main influences include Bowlby, Bollas, Winnicott and Jung.
In addition Lucy is also skilled in solution-focused techniques for the management and healing of issues such as phobias, anxiety, low self-esteem etc. Lucy originally trained and worked as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist and Neuro Linguistic Programming practitioner.
